Full description

Visit four Muslim heritage sites and discover what life was like in Granada in the Moorish period. Explore these monuments at your own pace, with a self-guided experience.

Enjoy entrance to El Bañuelo, one of the best-preserved Arab bathhouses in the region. Wander through the chambers where ritual and physical and bathing once took place.

Continue to Corral del Carbón, an ancient traders’ market. Admire the architectural detail of the facade as you pass through the entryway. See the old grain depot, warehouse, and traveler’s hostel. Admire the Maristán, founded as a hospital by Sultan Muhammad V in the 14th century.

Stop at Casa Morisca de Horno de Oro, a well-preserved Moorish house with views of the Alhambra. End with a visit to the Nasrid palace of Dar al-Horra Palace, to stroll the rooms of this former Sultan’s residence.
