After enduring a 2 and 1/2 hour “collection” with multiple pick-ups we were finally on our way. Our first guide was very good but had to cater to 3 different languages before passing us off to our English Only speaking guide for the tour of the grounds and palaces of La Alhambra. He was also excellent! The tour was extremely interesting with the history of the place and the grounds and palaces were magnificent to behold. We had plenty of time for shopping and to enjoy a meal while visiting the old city center. Day ended up being 13 hours and the grounds did require a modest physical effort with over 7 KM total walking and many steps. We did have a short travel stop both coming and going which allowed restroom break and a little snack if desired.

The trip is good, Granada and Alhambra must see, from malaga it doesn't take 11 hours, we returned at 6 pm which is good to explore malaga city.

At the established time, meet back with the guide and get ready for Alhambra. Declared a World Heritage Site, it is the most famous and best-preserved Moorish building in Spain. Once at the venue, immerse yourself in a guided tour through the amazing site and learn about the historic significance of the Alhambra. Discover the many decorative details around the site, built in the 13th century. Admire the rich architecture of the site, adapted to all the changes the complex underwent through the centuries. Walk along the Generalife Gardens and marvel at the recreation area palace during the Nasrid dynasty. After the Alhambra visit, return to your Costa del Sol departure city.

Granada was a wonderful city to visit and the Alhambra Palace was amazing. So much history and the views of the surrounding countryside were lovely!
