What People Are Saying About Granada
Great tour! Tanya Grigorova was our tour guide and she was great. The tour was in English and she did an extremely good job. The whole thing was well timed and extremely interesting. We enjoyed it greatly!
The guide was charming and well informed. Her spoken English was adequate but not very easy to follow.
We have used your guides in Madrid, Cordoba, Grenada and look forward to another tour when we arrive in Seville. The guides have all been welcoming and informative AND all have shown great enthusiasm in sharing their city with us.
Enjoyed the outing. Good group size. Excellent effort from the new guide. Some issues with certain English words but 1000 times better than my Spanish. Thank you. Good intro to a small part of Granada.
Claudia, our guide took us on a guided walk past statues, churches and other historical buildings, placing them into context with engaging descriptions of their history - original use, changes over the centuries with changing rulers etc. I enjoyed her sometimes humorous style in interpreting how events might have unfolded, but also that when there were differing opinions on something ( eg where the name ' Alhambra' originated) she provided 3 plausible explanations with the comment that ' different people support different explanations' or words to that effect. The tour is free but the guides are renumerated through tips and we were very happy to show our appreciation.
