Full description

Before entering the premises you will have a brief introduction in order to put you in the right context. Your visit to the Nazari monument includes three main areas: Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife-gardens, the order of which vary according to the circumstances and time of access to Palacios Nazaríes.  Your guide will decide the order and will inform the group about it before starting the tour. The Palace of Charles V is also included in the visit, although access is free without tickets.

Do not forget your ID is mandatory to get inside. The main entrance of the Alhambra is next to the map on the wall. Look for a pink umbrella.

  • Please wear comfortable shoes and monitor the weather, bringing an umbrella, sun cream or a water bottle if necessary
  • If you come with a baby chair, you should know that the Alhambra requires you to keep it in the lockers during access to the buildings
  • Wheelchair access has another route, the guide will explain it to you at the meeting point

The tour was excellent! Lorraine was a superb guide - so knowledgable about the history and she made it interesting too and the 3 hours seemed to fly by. She also gave us some very useful information about restaurants, flamenco shows etc.
