Spend the day gliding over the lush canopy of the tropical forest on this exciting canopy tour at the Mombacho stratovolcano of Nicaragua. Begin the day with a drive up the volcano to the heart of the dense cloud forest and embark on a small hike, exploring the ancient craters of the volcano and learning about the fascinating flora and fauna of the region. Continue the tour with a visit to the Biological Center, and then observe the ecosystem drastically change to one of a dry tropical forest filled with coffee plantations. It is here that you will begin your exciting canopy adventure, and with over 17 platforms, 11 steel cables, and a long walking bridge, this canopy course is a truly spectacular one. Gustavo was outstanding. we had an eight-year-old and a 10 year old so at times your patience was stretched but he never was. pick up and drop off were on time. Gustavo was personable friendly and funny. the canopy tour guys were amazing especially with that age children. we will do it again

This tour was amazing! Gustavo was an awesome guide, so knowledgeable and he showed us so many things! The little « hike » on top of the volcano was perfect, not too long, not too hard, juste the perfect amount of moving and perfect length. The ziplines were probably the funniest I ever did! The crew was very careful, listening to our limits and making us try fun things! 100% would recommend, worth every penny ❤️

Thank you to Carlos our Guide, and to the 3 Canopy guides who made a great day better. Pick up from our hotel was 10 minutes late, but quickly forgotten as we chatted the other guests and Carlos: Crazy road up Mombacho - up the volcano The coffee stop Carlos led an interesting discussion about the volcanic history of the area Carlos picked out the sloth from a near invisible location, very cool, also explaining about local flora and fauna Incredible view of Granada and Lake Nicaragua Loved the Tunnel Canopy (Zipline) Tour was made more fun and exciting by 3 guides, lots of jokes and letting my wife and I go tandem with each other, and upside down. Tuanis!!!
