What to Expect
This half-day tour takes you to 3 different weekly markets on Gran Canaria, located in 3 different charming villages. Each of the markets has its own specialty and style.
The first market you’ll visit is in the north of the island in the small village of Santa Brigida. The specialties here are handicrafts and fruits and vegetables typical of the area.
In the village of Vega de San Mateo you’ll come to the second market on the tour. This traditional market offers a variety of different products from cattle and sheep, such as Majorero cheese that enjoys Protected Designation of Origin status.
The third, and final, weekly market you’ll visit is located in the beautiful village of Teror. The charming village has much to offer and you’ll be able to explore the old town and see the basilica after visiting the market. This market features all kinds of meat products, including sausages and cold meats.
