Explore the Caldera de Bandama on this 6-hour trekking tour. Discover a miniature world with unique plants that can only be found there, and experience the unique sensation of being in a crater formed 5,000 years ago.
What to Expect
Enjoy a day experiencing the unique nature of the Caldera de Bandama, an icon of Canarian geography. The last eruption of the volcano occurred 200 years ago and since then, a dense vegetation has evolved in the crater and in the surrounding areas.

The region has become known for of its many wineries, its weather, and the volcanic ash that makes the soil ideal for wine production.

On this 6-hour excursion, your trekking route begins at the border of the crater and takes you down nearly 200 meters. The overall route is 8 kilometers long.

You’ll feel as if you’re in an isolated world, where the air, the sounds, and the flora and fauna have adopted their own rhythm. See endemic plants that you wouldn't find anywhere else on the island.
