From Gran Canaria: Day Trip to Loro Parque Tenerife

An unforgettable experience! Lara, our tour guide, was very attentive and knowledgeable. I was traveling alone and felt very well taken care of! Thank you very much.

First things first: this trip really is a day trip; we were on the road for a total of 17 hours. The organization was good, we received a message about the pickup location shortly after booking. The pickup was on time. The tour guide, who was with us for the entire tour, spoke very good English and Spanish and immediately pointed out that we would need photo ID (ID card or passport) on the ferry. The tour starts with a bus from Puerto Rico via Maspalomas and Las Palmas to Agaete, then by ferry to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and from there by another bus to Puerto de la Cruz to Loro Parque, where you have 6 hours of free time, which is more than enough for the small park. On the day we went, the park was extremely crowded, but that's not the fault of the tour operator – you might have better luck at other times. Apart from a few minor details, it was a great tour and definitely recommended.

The bus in Tenerife is probably very old. It was dripping from the ceiling (air conditioning not working), so it was like a sauna🥵. Our girl (Laura?) was amazing! She did a great job! 🥰 Thank you for the day – we won't forget it🥰. Best regards, Jasmine & Stefan with parents
