Explore Germany’s easternmost city on a walking tour. Join a local guide as they show you the city’s sights, including Schönhof, the oldest Renaissance building in Görlitz.
Meet your guide at the Obermarkt, one of the largest and most beautiful squares in Görlitz. From here, make your way to the smaller, but no less impressive Untermarkt. See the Trinity Church, the Napoleon House, the Schönhof, and the Town Hall with its impressive clocks.
Marvel at scenes from the Old and New Testament set in sandstone and attached to the “Biblische Haus” or biblical house. Visit the Untermarkt, often used as a filming location, and see the Whispering Arch.
Finally, wander down narrow alleyways to reach the imposing Peterskirche, the city church with dual towers that loom over Görlitz.

The guide knew a lot about the history of the town and had many interesting anecdotes. It was an enjoyable experience and stunning that there is so much history in the town that we only covered 800 metres within 90 minutes.
