This is a fun activity to do in Cappadocia! The guide was very supportive and made the process fun. It’s a great value for your money. Unfortunately if you aren’t in Cappadocia long, you can’t get your pieces back. But they have a beautiful shop if you’d like some pottery

Great activity to try pottery for the first time. Unfortunately it’s very hard to keep what you’ve made, but it was a great experience. The workshop guide was great fun, and very hospitable offering tea/coffee/water. You only get about 10-15 minutes on the pottery wheel (I guess this also depends on how many people are booked in your time slot, I had 7) but for the price you can’t go wrong.

Was a great thing to do with a 6 and 8 year old. They really enjoyed the experience and loved trying to make a few things. They were sorry not to keep what they had made - until we explained the firing process! The potter was great with us all. Would recommend.
