Golden Circle: Tours & Tickets

This your was amazing! As always it matters less what you're going to see and more about who you are going with- getting there is half the fun! Our tour guide (forgot his name :(, originally from Morocco) was HILARIOUS in the best way possible, he was also full of endless facts about Iceland which were really informative and I still remember them to this day. There was not a single dull moment. He really made the group come together and we all felt like a little family for the duration of the trip. We did not feel rushed at any of the sights. It was just PERFECT!

Guide could have been more involved and informative when we were off the bus in guiding us about what to see and do. He was informative in his narration while we were on the bus. The bus (more like a tundra vehicle) was not particularly comfortable in its suspension. If there is a reason why that vehicle was necessary for this tour, it would be helpful if we were inforned why. The variety of foods was excellent. I especially enjoyed learning and tasting at the tomato farm and the tour of the turf farm home.

A great guide, with experience and knowledge about the surrounding and history. Lots of information and the stops were long enough, but not to long. Good place for lunch were you could chose from three different restaurant or just have your own sandwich ( that we chose to bring with us).

We enjoyed seeing natural phenomena we'd not seen elsewhere and the ancient sites of the parliament and bishop's seat. The guide was an excellent communicator and had a great sense of humour, and the driver chatted to us on one of the stops which was nice. As the trip kept to time we actually made a couple of unscheduled stops, at another waterfall with a salmon ladder and a farm which trained horses (though they were not particularly friendly). The lamb soup at the lunch stop was delicious and also, the toilet facilities at all the main stops were well maintained and clean.

This was a special Tour whale watching & Golden circle the Grayline company picked us up from the ship and bring us back to the ship/harbor! The Tour was excellent , our Guide "Wil-Willi" explain us everthing from Iceland at it was very intresting ! Thanks a lot to "willi and lulli (chauffeur) for this great Tour Day!!!!!!!!!
