What People Are Saying About Golden Buddha, Bangkok

Good selection of highlights, excellent guide, poor ending

Very good approach to Bangkok's main temples. Our guide was an old man, he studied for years in a school run by budist's monks and he perserrve some of their philosophy. Due to the famous traffic jumps in the city, it is obviously recommended, if possible, to book the tour on sunday. The last part of the tour, however, was the visit to a jewell factory, with absolutely no interest if you do not want to shoping there. Ask your guide to skip that last part.

The bit in the middle was outstanding ...

After being picked up late having been mixed up with a customer on the same tour with a different company, the day got far better!!! The guide was informative and friendly and gave us detailed backstories of all the breathtaking temples (we saw three in total). There was little need for the random visit to the gem centre at the end where once you stepped foot passed the loo you were tailed by someone giving the hard sell. Much to my son's amusement I did panic but a pendant to give the lady a rest. Most importantly, all daftness aside, the temples were breathtaking, the guide and the drivers (especially the one who rescued us from the hotel) were great and it was a really enjoyable morning.

Khun Swai is a very experience and patience guide.

Khun Swai is a fantastic guide. His could give plenty of suggestions, due to his experience and knowledge. He always kept us entertained with the history of Bangkok and with very good explanations. He is helpful and follow our pace as in we got elderly in the group, hence we had a relaxed and knowledgeable tour. He even brought us to temples that are only known to the local and my parents really appreciate of his thoughtfulness. We are really grateful to have him as our guide during the tour. Thank you so much!!!

Great day, perfect to see Bangkok in a day

My personal guife Nina picked me up at the hotel at 7 am. She asked me what I would like to see and that was actually also our plan. Starting from taking a Tuk Tuk to the first sight up to having lunch at a market. The guide does not have to pay entrance to any temple so that means you have a personal guide with you for each temple. There was no question unanswered. I also learned a lot about Buddhism which was my personal choice. I can definitely recommend this tour for anybody who wants to see the city and its sights within a day and understand Thai culture. It is like a friend showing you his city. Thumbs up!

Will use Get Your Guide All Over the World

I've always had a great guide with Get Your Guide and Bangkok was no different. I used my guide Swai twice and both times he was courteous, very knowledgeable and my time was his time.
