Visit to the Gold Museum of Peru

Pick up at the meeting point at the Peruvian Gold Museum. Here we will appreciate the spectacular pieces of the Peruvian Gold Museum and the weapons of the world. The ancient Peruvians worked metals with mastery. The "Cireperdue" (lost wax) process, known in the East and disappeared in the West until the Renaissance, was the most used by these magnificent goldsmiths. Our excursion to the Peruvian Gold Museum will allow you to appreciate a dazzling collection of gold pieces from various pre-Columbian cultures, some of which are more than 3,000 years old. Objects and jewelry of incalculable value are on display, worked in gold, silver and precious stones, highlighting the ornaments and objects that the Incas, sons of the Sun God and monarchs of the vast Inca Empire, used in their time of splendor. The fame of Peru's gold attracted numerous European adventurers 500 years ago and was the cause of the end of the Inca Empire, giving rise to the Viceroyalty of Peru, of the Spanish colony. The Peruvian Gold Museum also displays a valuable collection of ancient and modern weapons, considered one of the best of its kind in the world. These rooms display armour, uniforms and objects from various periods and places, some of which date back as far as 1300 BC. This exhibition is known as the museum of the world's weapons.
