I had an amazing tour with guide Jonny Acosta and driver William Gonzales. It was a pleasure to have the tour with this dynamic duo. The tour started promptly and we headed to Monserrate. On the way there, Jonny shared various landmarks and facts about Colombian history and culture. Monserrate is a gem that you must see and the timing was perfect because there were no long lines and we had great views in both the funicular and cable car. Jonny knew all the great locations to take in the views of Bogota. Next, we headed to the market to see various fruits of the region, restaurants, shops, street art, and enjoy an incredible snack. I had the opportunity to purchase a souvenir to take back home and enjoy a coffee tasting. Then, we continued down the avenue to the Botero Museum as Jonny pointed out various buildings, statues, and offices by influential architects, artists, and historical figures. The Botero and Gold Museum were true highlights with Jonny as a guide to explain key points.
