Travel through the plain of Armageddon as mentioned in Revelations, and see the Megiddo site of an ancient Biblical city. Reach the southernmost point of the Sea of Galilee and stop to look down on the sea from above and take in the gorgeous pastoral vista, with the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) in the foreground and the undulating Golan Heights forming a dramatic backdrop. Cross the Jordan River at the foot of the Golan Heights and begin the ascent, passing through Hamat Gader, which today is a popular spa destination, just as it was for the Romans almost 2000 years ago. Continue on through the lush green countryside until reaching the Shalom Observatory. Take in a stunning view looking back at the Sea of Galilee beneath, while understanding the strategic importance of the Heights and looking down onto the Israeli city of Tiberias in the distance on the edge of the Sea of Galilee. Move on to Katzrin, where excavations have uncovered a village from the Mishnah and Talmud periods, which has been partially restored for visitors to see the archaeological findings, which include a synagogue, houses, and an oil press. See evidence of former volcanic activity in the Golan Heights as black basalt rock forms part of the landscape. Continue on to Katzrin, a city sometimes referred to as the Capital of the Golan, which has been occupied as far back as the Middle Bronze Age, and where later the Romans, Mamluks, Ottomans, and even French ruled this picturesque city. Explore the Golan Antiquities Museum and see findings from the region and the nearby archeological site, artifacts, and audiovisual presentations about the city of Gamla, while learning about Gamla, the historic Second Temple Era Jewish city which has been excavated nearby. Visit Mount Bental and what remains of Syrian fortifications, with Syrian bunkers, base, and trenches that were captured by the Israelis in the Six-Day War of 1967. Marvel at how close the Syrian border is and gaze down on the Syrian city of Kuneitra just beyond.

The trip was great!! Nedal was very professional!! He was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, kind and patient. We had... interesting/challenging people on our tour and he was respectful to all of us, treated us all like family. He took us to a restaurant-"davids harp" that was a fixed price of 110 shekels. The restaurant was gorgeous and the food was very very good and staff was amazing. Highly recommend the filet fish, not the chicken though. The sights and locations of the tour were really good but adding mt of beatitudes would be really neat if it was your first/only tour to Galilee area. Van was very comfortable and clean. Thank you!! I would highly recommend.

This was my first time in Israel, ive always wanted to visit Golan Heights, i booked this tour and I can honestly say our tour guide 'Avishai Levi' was so passionate, amazing, informative and extremely kind and helpful. He took his time to explain things properly, and made the tour super fun. You can really tell that Avishai was extremely knowledgable about this area. I would like to Thankyou Mr Avishai Levi for making this tour super fun and memorable. Being back home now from Israel, I can still remember my Golan Heights tour. This was very special, Thankyou once again, from Rashi :)

On this excursion you will see many beautiful and impressive places. The guide conveyed historical and current information in a very exciting way. Anyone who is interested in history and would also like to refresh their knowledge of stories from the Bible should take this tour. Of course, it is also interesting for anyone who wants to see many places and a varied landscape in one day. I can only recommend this excursion.

Our driver - Avi- was outstanding. He was knowledgeable and took us to places I hadn’t expected to go while providing extensive knowledge on the area, history, and offering recommendations. His driving was excellent making the long drive more comfortable. I really enjoyed this trip!
