A few highlights of the tour which I wanted to share, to explain why I rated it was excellent under all categories - The site is so important for history and I was really hoping to get a good guide, since I am a naive when it comes to archeology and also my first time to Sanliurfa, 1.5 hours flight from Istanbul, near which Gobektilepe is situated - My guide Mr. Selim Bakir is a gentleman, with a strong knowledge of history and archeology. He knows local people very well, and makes you feel safe and secure. He explained minute details to satisfaction. Very well managed on the ground. He treats respectfully and takes care. Excellent! - Mr. Adnan ( Of LaaL Dmc, the agency who managed this tour ) was very collaborative. He coordinated in a timely manner, booking of tickets, the pick from hotel and drop off was effortless for me. Excellent! Wish you the best enjoyable trip to one of the remotest historical wonders!

The day was perfect! And our guide Mr. Selim Bakir made it even better. He is a local, funny, polite and very knowledgeable about the history of the region. He took us to lunch with the best Kebap in the world (and it really was amazing). Gobeklitepe is a landmark in the history of humanity and getting to know the place in person, with someone who respects the heritage of the region, was very special. Having tea in Harran was magical, as was seeing Abraham's cave. I cried with emotion when I saw the archaeological site. The whole day was one to remember. And Adnan was in touch the whole time, thank you very much. If you are thinking of coming, do it, it is worth it!

Ibrahim was an AMAZING guide on our trip to Sanilurfa. It is a growing tourist destination and full of so much history (basically the start of civilization as we know it). The company was very professional, accommodated all of our requests, was timely and the information Ibrahim shared about Gobekli Tepe, Harran and Sanilurfa was very educational. Make sure this is a stop on your Türkiye trip!
