Agung.  Continue your tour to Besakih Temple, Bali's thousand-year-old Mother Temple, perched 1,000 meters high on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung. It is meant to be the island's largest holy site divided into three main complexes, each dedicated to the Hindu trinity. The last of the temples, Kehen Temple, is a multi-level temple on a hill home to a great Banyan Tree. Absolutely amazing from the get go! Everything from the gates, to the palace gardens to the bat cave temple blew me away. The only thing I’d suggest is take cash as none of these take cards for the entrance fees, thankfully my guide Agung was so helpful and used his own cash to allow me to gain entry and I was more than happy to repay him with a tip!
