Very enjoyable tour and well explained by tour guide of the foundations and history of a much loved Football Club in the East End of Glasgow that has an unbroken History and won many trophies including being the first ever British team to win the European Cup in 1967 by the Lisbon Lions and Management team of Jock Stein and Sean Fallon. The Celtic Park Stadium Tour was very enjoyable. An extremely knowledgable account of Celtic’s history and origins was given by the tour guide in the Boardroom. We set off from there to the dressing room and spent sometime taking photographs! From there we passed through the tunnel and into the stadium. It felt amazing to take in the view of such a spectacular arena. We also got to sit in the managers seat and take photographs too! I honestly felt uplifted by the whole experience and I’m not a season ticket holder. I think for anyone interested in football or in the history of the Irish immigrants who came to Glasgow, this is a fabulous tour. It really shines a magical light over Celtic football club and the east end of Glasgow.
