Travel to Tarbet on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond from Glasgow. Follow the full length of Loch Lomond to Rannoch Moor. Pass Buachaille Etive Mor, which is featured in James Bond’s Skyfall, and go through Glencoe Valley with its spectacular views.

At Fort William, join the romantic Road to the Isles to Mallaig. Pass Loch Eilt which you may recognize as the location in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" where Hagrid skimmed stones.

Dip your toes in the sand on a stop at the Silver Sands of Morar before your lunch stop at Mallaig (not included), where you can try local fish and chips.

Continue to Glenfinnan and enjoy an hour to explore at your own pace. Take in the unmissable views with the majestic Glenfinnan Viaduct on one side and the famous Glenfinnan monument to the Jacobites on the other.

From April 26 to October 1 see the Jacobite Steam Train, also known as the "Hogwarts Express", passing over the viaduct. Make your last stop at the Drovers Inn. Enjoy an evening refreshment by the roaring log fire.

My tour guide (Fergie) was fantastic; very knowledgeable indeed. He clearly knows the roads very well and was able to re-plan/reroute as required due to sudden road closures. He is also very good at explaining the history behind the various areas and landmarks. The trip was the first guided tour I have been on and may have spoilt me; as future guides will have a lot to live up to. Worth every penny.

Incredible tour around some beauty spots in Scotland. The ride was full of information and stories about Scotland and lots of Scottish-born singer/song writer music played throughout the ride. The stops were lovely and sporadic for snacks, tea or coffee. Our tour guide Jeff was the highlight for sure as he bestowed upon us his Scottish humour and wisdom, thank you Jeff!
