- The Matanuska Glacier Park is privately owned and charges per person every time you go through the gate (Alaska State passes do not apply):
- Regular entry fee at MGP gate is 45 USD per adult (17+), 25 USD for teens aged 13-16, and 30 USD for Alaska residents, military service members, and seniors (aged 65+)
- Depending on the group’s abilities, fitness and relationship, there is usually a 1:10 guide-to-client ratio, with multiple guides on larger tours
- This is an easy rudimentary walk/hike with basic variable glacier terrain and features such as slippery rocks and ice
