Full description

Your tour will start early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. Using a van for a small group allows for a more personalized experience. Enjoy a comfortable ride in a van as you travel from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo. The journey may take several hours, so it's advisable to bring some snacks and water for the trip. Once you arrive in Cairo, you have the choice to pay the entrance fees in advance or cash. Head directly to the Giza Plateau to explore the famous Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the iconic Sphinx. Take advantage of the opportunity for an optional camel ride around the Giza Plateau, offering a unique perspective of the pyramids. After lunch, head to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Explore the vast collection of ancient artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb, statues, and mummies. Depart from Cairo and head back to Sharm El Sheikh in the van. The excursion to Cairo is very nice, the guide speaks Italian very well and the pyramids are magnificent. The tour is quite complete: it includes the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, the papyrus factory and an essence factory. I had to give it only two stars, however, because the transport from Sharm el Sheikh is unthinkable: a driver came to pick us up at the hotel and then gave us bus tickets at the station and left us there without any instructions. We had to take a normal bus (definitely not for tourists) without knowing where to get off in Cairo to meet the guide and on the way back it was even worse because we had to wait 3 and a half hours at the station (which as you can imagine is not a quiet place). When we arrived in Sharm at 4 in the morning, there was no transfer waiting for us and we had to go back to the hotel by taxi. Furthermore, neither the ticket for the Giza site nor the Egyptian Museum is included, in total it is another 20€ per person.
