To avoid waiting in line, you can pre-book your tickets to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
On the day of your visit, there may be a security check before entering the museum. Show your QR code to the staff, who will scan it to give you access. If someone says your ticket is not valid, contact your supplier right away and don't make any additional payments.
Let's explore the amazing stories and mysteries of ancient Egypt through a new experience of GEM Hall of Mirrors. Wear holographic glasses and interact with real people in the world.
You walk up to the Grand Staircase surrounded by impressive statues of the great kings of ancient Egypt. In addition, there are four other exhibition halls containing collections that reflect the history of ancient Egypt. Don't miss this journey into the real world of ancient Egypt.

Note: GEM Complex: Daily open from 8:30 AM to 6 PM
Galleries: Daily from open 9 AM to 5 PM
Last ticket purchase: 4 PM

  • Pick up your tour earphones at the information desk in the Grand Hall before the tour begins
  • Meeting point for the tour is at the information desk in the Grand Hall

  • be deemed disruptive or dangerous by museum staff
  • Smoking is not permitted
  • Photography and videography are permitted using mobile phones for personal use only
  • Museum is open from 8:30 AM till 6:00 PM.
  • Main Galleries are open from 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM
  • Please ensure you select the correct dates of visiting before confirming your purchase as tickets are non-refundable.
  • Pickup & Drop-off os available from any hotel in Cairo and Giza for an additional charge in the Add-on option.
  • If you choose the transfer Add-on, the round-trip transfer duration is approximately 4 hours.
