1. From Sechelt or Langdale: Sunshine Coast Tour and Hike
Immerse yourself in the culture and nature of the Sunshine Coast on a small group tour of the area's highlights. Check out some local shops at Gibson Landing, stop for some lunch at Roberts Creek, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park. Start with pickup from either the ferry or airport terminal. From there, head to Gibson Landing to browse the local boutique shops including Gibsons Public Market. Check out Molly’s Reach, which is famous for being a key location in CBC’s longest-running Canadian drama, The Beachcombers. Head up the coast to the arty community of Roberts Creek. Take a gentle stroll along the pier and beaches. Further north, visit Sechelt, a charming seaside town where you can find local arts and hand-crafted goods. Here, there will be time to stop for a lunch break at a local favorite brewery. Continue along the Sunshine Coast highway until you arrive in the Halfmoon Bay area. Hike to the Smuggler Cove Marine Park viewpoint through lush forests, Arbutus trees, and toward the mouth of the cove. Admire the views out into Georgia Straight, Thormanby Island, and Texada Island.
