Roman, our tour guide for the bus ride and visit to Gibraltar was wonderful. He provided us with a lot of information about Spain, Sevilla, and Gibraltar. He recommended places to eat in Gibraltar and Sevilla. The walk across the border to get into Gibraltar was not a big deal. Once in Gibraltar we had time for some shopping and lunch before meeting our local guide, Louis. Louis was very friendly. The caves, the views and the monkeys were amazing. Although it is a long day, I would recommend this to tour.
The concept and idea is great but a lot of time is spend on immigration formalities. It took around 5 hours in the bus and 2 hours in ferry. Immigration another 2 hours. The rest of the time was spend in the excursion. The journey by bus and ferry was pleasant. The Spanish guide was lazy, while the Tangier guide Hassan was absolutely amazing! Overall it was a great day spend and kids enjoyed it too!
Tour was as described, this day in three languages (english, spanish, french). Unfortunately the group didn't respect the other languages making noise while the guide explained something in another language and therefore hard to follow. I would recommend to look for a tour in only one language, otherwise you loose a lot of the information given.
The whole day was enjoyable and stress free. We didn't want the worry of driving ourselves to Gibraltar so taking the tour was a great option. Everything ran on time. The 3 hrs of free time was plenty for a nice relaxed lunch and then we chose to take the cable car ride to the top of the rock (not included in this tour).
We had no contact with the tour operator prior to the tour (they never sent their confirmation email) and so we waited for an hour outside our apartment before the tour guide called and asked where we were. Once we had that sorted it was a great day and a great tour. Would recommend it
