These traditional boats where built primarily for fishing but their colorful image and design has recently become a tourist attraction and a part of maltese culture. A bar is provided on-board serving alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, snacks and ice-creams. During the tour, we will take you around the beautiful island of Comino, starting from the Blue Lagoon, heading East to Sant Marija Caves and back to the west part, the Crystal Lagoon. As we go around the island we will have the chance to: - Swim in the crystal blue waters of the stunning Blue Lagoon beach and see a natural cave which you can swim through. A pretty sandy beach is there as well. Various kiosks available serving fast food, alcoholic beverages served in a pineapple and ice-creams. Water-sports such as parasailing can also be done here. The stunning tower of Saint Mary can be visited from here. - Swim in yet another beautiful beach offering a more peaceful environment than the Blue Lagoon. With us, you will get the chance not only to see the splendid caves that this island has to offer but also go inside such natural beauties and swim in a pond which is located right inside a cave. Our guide will show you the way inside. After you swim to the cave’s entrance, the guide will help you get on land and after walking 10metres inside the cave, a lovely pond is found. It is possible to swim in it and if you are a good diver, you can also dive under and pass through to the other side, why not? For those film enthusiasts, inside this cave is where the ‘Count of Monte Cristo’ was filmed. Plenty other caves are seen around here. - See the naturally formed shape of an Elephant’s Head. - As we come around the island we will finish the tour by visiting this amazing little beach - The Crystal Lagoon, which is right behind the Blue Lagoon. It offers amazing swimming and snorkeling spots. Two caves can be seen here. One special cave lies just under the Saint Mary’s tower and as you swim inside, just at the end of the cave lies a sandy beach. The guide will again come with you inside the cave since he knows it better than anyone. The other cave is open from both sides so anyone can swim right through the other side and therefore it is less dark and easier to swim through. This lagoon is also a perfect spot for those who love cliff jumping. The tower of Saint Mary is also seen from here which is only a 10 minute walk. Just a little bit outside the lagoon lies a military wreck at a depth of 25m. It is visible from the boat when the seas are clear. You own the boat for the day!

Our tour to Gozo starts with the fast ferry service from Valletta direct to the pretty port of Mgarr. The charm of Gozo is apparent the moment you arrive there. Greener, more rural and smaller than Malta. Our tour is a combination of scenic spots, historical sites, local culture and food. Due to our early start we have an opportunity of visiting a 75 year old traditional bakery in one of the local towns. Watch them prepare for their daily baking and you will also have the opportunity to taste something they would have baked a little earlier. Our next stop are the magnificent Ggantija temples, meaning 'Giant Temples'. These temple also enjoy UNESCO satus and considered to be amongst the oldest free standing megalithic monuments in the world dating, back over 5500 years. The adjoining visitor's centre boasts artefacts from the temple site and also from the nearby underground temple site of the Xaghra Circle (4100BC), studies of samples and results from which are still emerging. A scenic drive will pass through quaint sleepy villages that characterise Gozo's unique charm. The drive also highlights the north coast including a stop at the Calypso Cave belvedere, this viewing point offers breathtaking views over the red sands of Ramla Bay and the lush fertile valley which leads down to it. This panoramic coastal driver drive takes us to Xwejni bay with its salt pans and the natural feature of Qolla l-Bajda. We continue on to one of the most photographed sites on Gozo, Dwejra. This is a site of ecological and geological importance, which includes the Blue Hole, The General's Rock and Inland Sea. We then go to the pretty seasode village of Xlendi. The picturesque bay has a small sandy beach and restaurantsilining the waterfront. Here you will have some free time for a lunch break. After lunch we will visit, Victoria the capital of Gozo. The main attraction is the 'The Citadel', a small fortified town which dominates the heights above the island capital. This site has been inhabited since the Bronze Age period. Walking through this historical gem one can admire the medieval layout with interesting features and some excellent examples of domestic medieval architecture, blending with buildings of the Knights of St John. Once at the top, a stunning panorama of the whole island and even Malta's northern coast enfolds. We make our back to Victoria and drive down to the port for the ferry back to Valletta.

It primarily serves as the final resting place for the island's past residents and workers. Surrounded by the island's serene and rugged landscape, the cemetery offers a quiet and reflective spot for visitors. The Abandoned Isolation Hospital: This is a fascinating historical site. Originally built in the early 20th century to quarantine patients with infectious diseases, the hospital now stands as a reminder of the past. The hospital's remote location and dilapidated state offer a stark contrast to the island's natural beauty, making it a unique and compelling destination. Santa Marija Tower: This is one of Comino's most iconic landmarks, perched on a hilltop with commanding views of the surrounding sea and islands. Built in 1618 by the Knights of St. John, the tower served as a crucial defensive lookout against pirates and invaders. The Famous Blue Lagoon: The Blue Lagoon on Comino is renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and stunning natural beauty. This idyllic spot is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on the white sandy shores. Back to Santa Marija Bay: This is our final stop where the boat will pick us up to take us back to Gozo. You will get another chance for a dip in the sea, relax, or snorkel until the boat comes. The bay also features historical sites like the little police station and the chapel. Pick up transfer from Hondoq Bay back to Victoria Bus Terminus.
