What people are saying about Gettysburg

This tour (2 hours) was definitely the highlight of our three-day visit to the Gettysburg Battlefield. The pre-tour information is well organized and you feel welcomed when you arrive. As far as we could tell, the horses appear to be well cared for and loved. Annie, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and told the stories of the battle in an enthusiastic and entertaining manner. She’s a pro! We highly recommend this tour and specifically this group for a horse tour.

Our guide was able to recount several of the battles around Gettysburg in such detail that you could visualize how the Union and Confederate soldiers battled each other in a very bloody battle. He was able to point to ridges and valleys and tell us which Generals lead their charges and the terrible casualties that resulted. Very interesting!

Our tour guide, Dan, was extremely knowledgeable, had pictures and diagrams to better explain situations, answered all our questions and had us laughing with his ‘dad jokes’. The horses were beautiful and well cared for. The carriage was comfortable and we would do this tour again!

It was perfect for us, especially my Dad. We wanted to get him out on the battlefield without too much walking. Loved it!

Absolutely great guide, his knowledge was exceptional
