Gerakas Beach, Milos

Spend your day exploring Milos Island and the uninhabited island of Polyaigos. Enjoy lunch and drinks and stops to swim in crystal clear blue waters. Your journey from Adamas and make your way to the colorful fishing villages of Adamas Gulf and Arkoudes. On the northern side of the island, admire the famous lunar landscape of Sarakiniko and the volcanic islands of Glaronissia. Stop for a swim on Polyaigos Island before sailing to eastern Milos to learn about the history of the Sulfur Mines at Thiorichia. Stop for a swim in the emerald waters of Gerakas and then head to the famous Kleftiko, an old hideout for pirates to snorkel in its caves. Before leaving Kleftiko, enjoy lunch in its unique landscape. Next, see the Cave of Sykia, with its collapsed roof, as well as the western side of Milos, which is only accessible by boat. See the old manganese mine of Cape Vani before returning to the port of Adamas around 7 PM.

Meet at the activity provider's office that is conveniently-located in Adamantas just a few minutes walk from the main port and ferry terminal on the island of Milos. You will have the opportunity to swim at Kalogries Beach, Kleftiko bay, Gerakas beach, Poliegos Island, Blue Lagoon depending on the weather. You will also sail pass by the multicolored rocks of Cave Vani, the Bear Rocks, and many more highlights of the volcanic island landscape. During the cruise, you will be offered a light breakfast, a full lunch meal, and afternoon seasonal fruit with coffee. All meals are cooked onboard with fresh ingredients, sourced daily from the local market. Water, soft drinks, beer, and wine are also included in generous quantities. At the swim stops you may use the boat's swim noodles and the snorkeling gear. The experienced crew will offer some guided commentary about the stories and the myths of the islands. The cruise will finish in the evening at the same place where the catamaran departed. If the wind conditions are not ideal then you will be transferred to a better location and from there back to Adamantas.

Go to Agia Kiriaki beach and rent a boat from a local family business. No need for a driver's license as every person aged over 18 year's old is allowed to cruise, in a group of max 5 persons. Take your food and drinks, together with sunblock and towels, and explore Milos hidden beauties! After a safety briefing, you become your own Boat Captain! You can book the boat either for half or full day. At the end of the rental you must pay for the fuel cost, based on the fuel you have used. You get the boat with the tank full.

Enjoy the spectacular beauty of Milos and Poliegos (Blue Lagoon), while sailing with a luxury catamaran around the island. The cruise starts at 9:00 setting sail from Adamas, the port of Milos, heading northwest, towards Cape Vani, which is famous for its history as there were the manganese mines opened in 1898, the ruins of which can be seen. The first stop is Kalogries, a protected bay after Cape Vani with crystal clear turquoise water, where you will enjoy swimming and our homemade breakfast. Sailing on the west side of the island we will have a short stop at the entrance of Sykia cave for photos before we arrive at the next swimming spot. Kleftiko, the famous old pirates’ hideout with numerous caves is the second stop where you can enjoy snorkeling in crystal clear green-blue waters, explore the elaborate caves or paddleboarding surrounded by imposing volcanic rock formations. Anchor up and we set sail again! Gerakas with the impressive sand slides and the transparent turquoise waters is the third stop. There you will enjoy a full lunch prepared on board, a delicious bbq meal, Greek flavors and a variety of drinks. As we continue to our next stop, we pass by Theiorychia a historical place at the east side of the island, where we will see the oldest mining business of sulfur in Greece. The last swimming stop is Blue Lagoon at the island of Poliegos, a bay that is like a natural swimming pool with transparent light blue waters! On our way back to the port we will pass by "Arkoudes" and "Klima" to admire the view while enjoying the homemade dessert.
