Along the way, see the Cathedral of Saint Laurence, the Palace of the Doge, the Medieval Walls, and the house of Christopher Columbus. Walk along the ancient port and admire the panoramic views.
Stop off for a lunch of focaccia or pasta, and continue on to Portofino via Santa Margherita. This small fishing village, with the famous "piazzetta," is loved by many because of its charming touches, such as the local lighthouse and colored houses surrounded by beautiful villas.
The tour will end in Portofino, and you can easily return to Genova by taking the ferry to Santa Margherita and a train or taxi the rest of the way.
