From Geneva: Gruyères Gold Tour with Train Ride & Tastings

Well organised and enjoyable day trip to Gruyères, beautiful views everywhere we went, enjoyed the chocolate tasting at the chocolate factory and the cheese platter and fondue at the cheese factory restaurant (was included in the booking), finished the day with the train ride to Montreux and a visit to the city. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this day trip. Perfect mixture of beautiful views and tasty food. My highlight had to be visiting Gruyère medieval village. It was stunning, felt like real life beauty and the beast village.

The trip is highly recommended. The views on the way to Gruyere are stunning and the village itself is unique. However, the full description of the trip and the information given by the guide give an impression that there will be a close encounter with cows which did not happen. Also, during the trip when we returned back to the bus some persons took over my and my friend's seats which is unusual in any trip as everyone tend to return back to their same seats after each stop. This was eventually fixed but when I asked the guide to kindly try to prevent this from happening again after the next stop. He seemed upset and replied that he cannot reserve a seat for me (which obviously was not what i asked for) and he cannot know what's inside everyones brain. Simply he could have replied that he will try his best to keep things organised and he could have made a short reminder in the bus for everyone to keep their positions throughout the trip. Other than this the trip is worth it.
