Full description

Explore the heart of the Swiss Alps in the village of Interlaken. Experience breathtaking views of Lakes Thun and Brienz on either side and the surrounding peaks.   Departing from Geneva, go on a full-day trip and explore the heart of the famous Bernese Oberland. Arrive in Interlaken, overlooked by the famous trio of summits, Eiger, Mönch and Junfrau. Visit the harbor and see the blue lakes on both sides of the village. Experience the local culture and try local specialties, such as a Swiss fondue.   Roam through the charming streets and browse the shops and boutiques. Before leaving, walk down Bahnhofstrasse, famous for its luxurious watch shops. Stroll through the local gardens and see the outdoor clock built into the flowerbed at Casino Kursaal.   At the end of the afternoon, you will board the bus to go back to Geneva. Marvel again at the beauty of the area as you drive through Jungfrau region, back to your point of departure with an estimated arrival time of 8:30 PM depending on traffic.

didn't actually do this trip as I was the only one going so they cancelled it but they give me options of other trips. the option I chose was fantastic. Chaplin world and a cruise and castle. amazing

The trip was amazing, our driver Dimitrios was very accommodating and provided great recommendations for making the most of our time in the mountains. If you are lucky to have a small group of people like we were you can all agree to do one of the options (cable car vs. Mountain train) and may have more time to explore Lauterbrunnen before heading to Interlaken. Dimitrios just wanted us message him on WhatsApp when we were finished the cable car in the mountains and he was ready to drive us to Lauterbrunnen. The cable car and mountain train tickets are not included but totally worth it to spend extra for the cable car to go up to the mountains and see the views.
