The tour was interesting with a mix of historical information about chocolate and about the city. Our guide Anna was friendly and really knowledgeable! The tour lasts for around 3 hours and runs rain or shine so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Overall I think the value for money is good as the shops are some of the best in Geneva, but this does mean that they are on the pricier side and you will only get small samples from most locations. You are not obligated to buy anything, but if you are looking for a special gift you can find it on this tour! You can also get a discount at a couple of the shops during or after the tour.

We booked this tour as a last-minute activity while visiting Geneva for the weekend. What an amazing experience! Anatole, our guide, was extremely personable and knowledgeable, not only about the history of chocolate and details of modern chocolate making, but also about Geneva. 10/10. Highly recommend!

The tour was really cool, Maria was a great guide! We learned a lot about the chocolate history and how Switzerland became port of chocolate history. Walking around the old town, learning about the city and it’s traditions while tasting lots of chocolates was perfect :) Only the boat ride was disappointing. It created expectations but actually the “boat ride” was just crossing the river using the public transportation (small yellow boats). I loved it, was just a mismatch on the expectations created by this written description of the experience.
