My guide was amazing. I can't remember her name but she had only started working recently but you honestly couldn't tell. The tour unlocks discounted prices on the chocolate shops you visit. I personally couldn't finish all the chocolate we got to try I was so full but we got the option to take them back with us afterwards. The Aveline (avaline?) was probably my favourite. Very creamy and rich melt in your mouth type of chocolate but you will be spoiled for choice. They even offered umbrellas when it started raining a little bit which I thought was a nice touch. The tour guides are very kind and knowledgeable about the city.

The tour was very interesting, and unexpectedly included several local facts and general siteseeing. Vicki, our guide, was very enthusiastic about the history of chocolate, as well as the local folklore of Geneva. She imparted her information clearly, and with a smile. The only slight disappointment was I mistakenly believed that I would see something of the production of chocolate, which was not the case. But the tastings were quite illuminating.

Our guide Regina was fantastic. She taught us everything we needed to know about chocolate and Geneva. The water taxi ride across the river was the perfect way to see Geneva from a different perspective. We visited 6 chocolatiers, and sampled award winning chocolates, truffles, hot chocolate, and more. We walked a comfortable place across the old and new parts of Geneva. Bring comfortable shoes as come of the streets are cobblestoned and uneven in the old part of town. I definitely recommend this tour. Ask for Regina, she was wonderful.
