My husband and I had a lovely time during the whole activity. We started with some wine tasting and was presented the GemTree Wines' history, it's biodynamic beginnings and moved on to their veggie patch. We were shown what makes their wines biodynamic which was very enlightening. We were driven by our lovely host to the wine and wander ecotrail on a Polly. We had the place pretty much to ourselves from 10am at the wine tasting room to the ecotrail where we had a nice gourmet picnic basket and wine waiting for us. The food was amazing which was done by The Salopian Inn. We want back to the wine tasting room after getting picked up from the ecotrail. They have a couple of Alpacas and Emus on the property. We finished with an annual subscription of their wines. Overall, it was a great experience. All the staff, the environment and how they are environmentally friendly made the experience very special. It gave us a different perspective on wine making.
