The Tourist Information point on the pavement in front of the door does not clearly indicate that you can borrow guides here - a pity because we passed many "lost" tourists who missed the pleasure of walking with a guide. And it's definitely worth it. After going through the entire route, we felt unsatisfied. Too briefly, we had the impression that we missed a lot of information, e.g. about the history of streets (reading their names, they must have it) about people. There was nothing of the legends (e.g. the lady in the window). We dream of such a guide for an 8-hour route, or several routes.

Narratives from various perspectives on the individual stations

The audio guide was very good. The explanations and stories at the individual stations were also good and interesting. Partly from the perspective of seafarers or travelers. Devices were easy to use and technically OK. Unfortunately, the pickup at two tourist information was on the order confirmation, but in fact the devices were only available to tourist information in the city center. Thus we had an additional footpath of about 30 minutes. Delivery of the equipment was also possible only at the same place.

A large dose of history.

We have received audio guides with a map in the tourist information on Dlugi Targ. Very interestingly recorded guide. The only thing we missed was the gps locator in the guide, but then we learned that the smartphone can be downloaded AudioGuideGdansk for 7.50 PLN and it is exactly the same guide as rented in the tourist information only the one in the application connects to the gps and prompts us in near what we are and whose number should now be heard. Then at home, you can easily listen to everything again. A very nice trip with a large dose of interesting history. The guide is very interesting. We really recommend. Ps. Gdańsk weekend is not enough, so we'll be back :)
