Not only do you get to eat some great food and try great local beer and wine in some excellent establishments but you also get to learn a whole lot about the history of Vancouver. Tour guide Brent was excellent with his knowledge of the food, and history he also explained everything so well and is an excellent story teller. Highly recommended!! Word of warning don’t eat before this tour and if your planning dinner after it plan it to be a later dinner. I was full as a boot by the end!

Delicious, Fun and All the Best Foods!

How do you satisfy parents and teens? Sign up for this fun food tour! Our guide Liam was fun and pleasant as he took us to 9 different eateries all within a 10 minute walk of the starting point. Food and drink was varied. We all wished we had done it on our first night in Vancouver so that we could return to several of the restaurants. We especially liked the Bao sandwiches. Learning about the local history was an added bonus. The food was plentiful and varied. There was no part of the tour we did not like!

Our tour with Brent Hirose was great. My sister and I had come up to Vancouver for a day trip and found this option on the Get Your Guide website. We both love food and the weather was supposed to be nice, so we thought we'd give it a try. It was awesome. Brent led us through the Gastown district at an easy pace and the dishes were always ready for us when we arrived. The different samplings were delicious, requiring little to no bravery to try them. We learned about Vancouver's history in general and the Gastown district's in particular. My sister said it was one of the most fun experiences she's ever had while traveling. I won't hesitate to try another walking food tour again!
