The great advantage of a private tour is that it gives you a flexibility, and this certainly did that. Tour guide Babu made sure we got to the attractions ahead of the crowds. The walking is easy, so suitable for all age groups. The lunch place did not look very promising from the outside, but the chicken curry served made up for it. Staff were very attentive.

The (private) tour was very nice. The guide was very nice and told us a lot about the culture and religions in Mauritius. We would have had the opportunity to stay longer at all stops, but we didn't use it that way. Lunch was various Mauritanian dishes served on a banana leaf. The shipbuilding museum / workshop was also very interesting, but only lovers will buy something here. I had imagined rum tasting differently. Was in a shop that also sells cashmere and not in a rum factory. All in all a very nice and interesting day where we got to know the green heart of the island. Can definitely recommend the tour.
