Excellent adventure! We were celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday. All aspects of the experience were fun and exciting. Our helicopter pilot was a knowledgeable guide and excellent, seasoned pilot. Our host at BUSL cidery was welcoming and friendly offering a lovely tour of his facility and grounds, including cider and beer tasting and a nice lunch which was more than the two of us could eat. Very relaxing and enjoyable day! We would highly recommend this tour....well worth it!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! We couldn’t stop smiling all day. The helicopter ride was smooth and the views out of this world. The pilot and was friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. The cider mill was a gem! The ciders were the best we’ve ever tasted and the flavours were unique. The portion size was generous too - 4 large glasses each. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Thousand Islands.

Full description

There’s no better way to experience Thousand Islands than the sky. Head to the heliport in Gananoque and hop onboard your helicopter for your 30 minutes aerial adventure.  Soar through the skies and soak up panoramic views of the many islands below. From the helicopter, see famous landmarks including Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, Millionaires Row, Thousand Islands International Bridge, and more. Back on land, visit BUSL Cider, the region’s newest cider mill. Enjoy a guided tour of the mill and learn how cider is produced while tasting a selection of ciders. Wander through the mill’s sprawling orchards, and stop at a nearby bakery. End the experience with a light lunch, and sample the region’s world-famous Thousand Islands Dressing.

• Meet at Gananoque Heliport, 88 County Rd 32, Leeds & 1000 Islands, Ontario, Canada • The heliport is a easy 20 minute drive from Kingston, located right off exit 645 from Highway 401 • Look for a Helicopter Tours sign along Highway 32 • When coming from the town of Gananoque, the meeting point is located on the left-hand side of the road • There is ample free parking on site • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure time of your confirmed flight

  • All flights are subject to availability, favorable weather conditions, and require minimum numbers. If you're a solo traveler, the local partner will aim to book you with other confirmed passengers
  • If your tour is canceled due to poor weather or unforeseen circumstances, you'll be entitled to an alternative date or a full refund
  • It's recommended to book your flight on your first available day in Gananoque so that you have maximum flexibility to roll on to the next available date
  • Your flight date/time may be different from that requested and will be confirmed by the local partner via email after booking
  • Maximum of 3 passengers permitted per helicopter
  • Maximum weight restriction of 275 lbs per seat applies. All passengers will be confidentially weighed at check-in
  • Handheld cameras and mobile devices are welcome on board
  • Canadian regulations require children aged 2 and above to sit in their own seat
  • Children under 2 years of age must sit on a parent or guardians lap

Martine, our pilot, was an extremely lovely lady!! We had great conversation and she was very knowledgeable. The BUSL cider mill had a lovely lunch for us and the cider flights were delish! I 100 percent recommend and I hope to visit again, in the winter!
