Our day tour with Suresh was very nice experience overall:) He drove very carefully and made sure we see as many sights as possible on the way. Tea factory was a definite highlight, as well as Little Adam Peak hiking. If you are into adventure, this tour is a good fit for you😉
Our driver/tour guide was quite possibly the most careful driver we’ve come across in Sri Lanka. The temple was interesting to see, and the driver gave us some background information about the place. Going on the zip line was definitely worth it, although it takes about an hour from registering to actually doing it. And yes, they do check your weight on the scales by the counter, and everyone can see it (they also print it on the band on your wrist for good measure). Going back from the bridge site, as well as going up to the Little Adam's Peak view point involves a decent amount of steps. For lunch, we were pointed towards one of the restaurants in Ella, which actually turned out to be one of the better meals we had in Sri Lanka. Once in the Halpewatte Tea Factory, you can choose between several tours, such as factory or plantation tour, each of which includes tea tasting. There is also a shop there, where you can buy tea made in the factory, as well as elsewhere.
