After getting picked up from your hotel in Santiago de Compostela, begin your journey along the Galician coast. Your first stop will be at a traditional Galician village. Here, head to the top of a Roman bridge where you can admire breathtaking views of the river. Next, head to Muxia Lighthouse, where you can visit the famous sanctuary and head to the top of the lighthouse for a unique coastal experience. Continue your tour with a visit to the region's most important lighthouse and cape, Finisterre. From atop of this picturesque cape, admire panoramic views of what was considered by the Roman's to be the end of the earth. Break for lunch in the town of Finisterre before heading to the Ezaro Waterfall, the only waterfall that arrives directly into the ocean. Later, head to Carnota, where you can see the largest horréo, an old granary suspended by pillars, in existence. Finally, head to the village of Muros, a traditional coastal village. At the scheduled time, we will depart from Plaza de Galicia, where our guides, will be waiting for you. We start the journey by heading in bus for approximately 45 minutes, we will arrive in Muros, a charming fishing village. Here, you will have time to stroll through its picturesque streets and enjoy a coffee at one of the local cafés. Our next destination is the Ézaro waterfall, where the Xallas River creates a spectacular sight by cascading directly into the ocean. This natural wonder is unique, as it is the only river in Europe that falls directly into the sea, offering a breathtaking view. We will then continue our journey along the stunning Costa da Morte, or "Coast of Death," named for its treacherous waters. Our route will take us to Finisterre, a town rich in history and culture. In Finisterre, you will have about two hours of free time to enjoy a leisurely lunch. This is a perfect opportunity to savor fresh seafood and other delicacies from the Atlantic Ocean. After lunch, we will visit the renowned Finisterre lighthouse. Perched on the edge of the continent, this lighthouse has guided countless ships through the perilous waters. Here, we will listen to captivating stories and legends about the numerous shipwrecks that have occurred along these shores. The Romans once believed this point marked "the end of the known world," adding a mystical allure to the site. Next, we will make our way to the coastal town of Muxía. Located by the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Boat, Muxía is steeped in history and legends, particularly related to the Camino de Santiago. During our visit, we will learn about the fascinating stories associated with this pilgrimage route. We will also discover the stones of d'Abalar and Dos Cadrís, which are surrounded by intriguing myths and legends. Our final stop will be back in Santiago, where our excursion will conclude. This journey will take us through some of the most beautiful and historically rich areas of Galicia, providing an unforgettable experience filled with natural wonders, cultural insights, and captivating stories.

For approximately two hours, fundamental to understand and feel this wonderful city and its estuary, this tour will surely not leave you indifferent. On the day of the free walking tour, we'll meet in Praza Porta do Sol, a square in the heart of Vigo, where you'll find the famous sculpture of "O Sireno", the symbol of this Galician city. From there, we'll head towards one of the city's treasures, little known by tourists, where you'll be able to enjoy spectacular views of Vigo and its estuary. We'll continue our free guided tour through the main streets and squares of the historic center, where we'll learn about the history of the city and some of the famous figures who have made Vigo a tourist attraction. Next, we'll head to the harbor and the landscaped avenues of the nautical area, where our guide will tell us all about the development of the city, its migratory history, and the legends of sunken treasures that surround Vigo.

Here, eat lunch and take free time to walk around the town and its fishing port. Resume the itinerary and head to Muxia where you will be met here with a beautiful Sanctuary at the foot of the Atlantic and with three stones considered sacred by the Galicians.

After immersing yourself in these tales, we’ll continue our journey to Finisterre. The next stop is the legendary Finisterre Lighthouse, a place of deep symbolism for pilgrims, Romans, and Celts, who once considered this site to be magical. Standing at the edge of the world, you too will feel its power as you take in panoramic views of the endless ocean, the calm waters, and the unique atmosphere that has captivated visitors for generations. As lunchtime approaches, we’ll make our way to the town of Finisterre for a well-deserved break to savor the best of Galicia's renowned cuisine. First, we’ll visit the Ézaro Waterfall, a natural wonder unique in Europe where the Xallas River cascades dramatically into the sea, creating a breathtaking sight within the Corcubión Estuary. Then, we'll explore the Hórreo of Carnota, one of Galicia’s largest and most iconic granaries, a symbol of the region’s rich agricultural traditions. On our return journey, we’ll pass through the Ría de Muros, a scenic stretch along the Galician coast. This final leg of the tour will allow you to soak in the beauty of Galicia’s Rías, its pilgrim traditions, and its timeless cultural heritage, before arriving back in Santiago to complete a truly unforgettable day.
