Enjoy free time to visit the splendid Cathedral, the Church of Saint Peter in perfect Byzantium style, the Castle, the Towers, the mighty Pelasgi Bastions, and the walls that surrounded the ancient city. You'll begin by meeting with your driver and guide in Lecce before your departure. Later, you'll arrive to Galatina at 9:00AM to begin a private guided tour of the city. You will visit one of the most beautiful and important Basilicas in southern Italy, Saint Catherine of Alexandria in the Gothic-Romanesque style, which includes a walk in the historic center to admire the clock tower and the ancient gates to the city. Following that, you'll arrive to Soleto at 11:00AM to begin your second private and guided tour. Soleto is a charming authentic village of which you will be able to appreciate the 14th and 16th-century art of its civil buildings which are characterized by coats of arms and Baroque ornaments. You'll later arrive to Masseria le Stanzie at 12:30PM. There you will visit the Masseria and its ancient Ipogeo oil mill, before returning to Lecce.
Your experience begins as you meet with your driver and guide before departing from Lecce. Upon arrival in Galatina, you'll begin a private guided tour.
