Your tour will begin as you are picked up at 6:15AM, at which point you will head to the Itabaca Canal to board your yacht. From there, your trip to Bartolome will last approximately 2.5 hours. Bartolome has some of the most beautiful and photographed landscapes of the archipelago. There is a path made of wood that you will have to climb to reach the top of this dormant volcano, from where you will be amazed by the spectacular landscapes. The main attraction of the island is Pinnacle Rock, a fantastic local lava formation which has been eroding throughout time. Bartolome also has two beautiful crescent-shaped beaches with golden sand that invite you to sunbathe, swim, or snorkel. You may even be lucky enough to discover Galapagos penguins or sea turtles swimming in the shallow waters.

This full-day yacht tour from Santa Cruz takes you on a discovery of the beautiful Galapagos Islands. In the morning you will walk approximately 40 minutes to Tortuga Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of the islands where you can enjoy swimming and spending some time on the beach. After lunch you tour around the bay on board the yacht. You will then visit La Lobería, a beach which owes its name to the presence of many sea lions. Here you will be able to swim or snorkel. Next you will head to Canal del Amor (Channel of Love). At the end of this channel you can observe reef sharks from the viewpoint. From here you will continue on with a short walk to see the marine iguanas in their natural habitat at Playa de los Perros before visiting Punta Estrada.

Depart Puerto Ayora and journey to the higher part of Santa Cruz island to cycle to Cerro Mesa, the first ecological reserve in the Galapagos. Walk the pristine paths to admire the flora and fauna, and get a spectacular view of the island and its surroundings. Continue to Garrapatero Beach for a picnic on the shore. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure to relax on the beach and marvel at the native flamingos and mallards in the nearby lagoon. Rent a kayak if you wish to experience the lagoon from a different perspective. Return to Puerto Ayora at the arranged time for the end of the services.

San Cristobal: 4-Day Galapagos Island Tour

5. San Cristobal: 4-Day Galapagos Island Tour

Day 1: San Cristobal Island & snorkeling or kayaking You will be picked up from the airport by your certified guide. After lunch, choose from one of two options. You can visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the formation, colonization and situation of the islands. You will take an easy hike to a viewpoint, to see the beautiful view over the island. Then snorkel the shallow waters of Tijeretas Bay or Carola Beach, where you can see sea lions, various tropical fish, and turtles. Or you can choose to take a 3-hour kayak trip to see the island's wildlife up close. Day 2: San Cristobal Island & Lobos Island or Kicker Rock On the second day you will again choose from two options. The first option is to visit Lobos Island, a 30-minute boat ride from the port. The island is home to a large sea lion colony. Hike and snorkel on a half-day tour of the island. Hopefully you will spot marine iguanas and frigate birds, as well as rays and turtles. The second option is a visit to Kicker Rock, a volcanic formation in the ocean. There you will be able to snorkel with rays, turtles and hammerhead sharks if you are lucky. After lunch on the boat you will go to a beautiful, pristine beach, where you will have time to relax.  Day 3: Espanola Island Depart by boat to Espanola island. Upon arrival, you will disembark at Punta Suarez where you will take a hike to look for albatrosses, blue-footed booby and other birds. After the hike you will go back to the boat to have lunch on board. Then enjoy a snorkel session and look for tropical fish and rays. You will head back to San Cristobal port at the end of the afternoon. Please note, albatrosses are not on the island from late December to the beginning of April, but there is still plenty of wildlife to see. Day 4: San Cristobal transfer to the airport On the final day you will be transferred to the airport, where your driver will accompany you to the check-in point. Here your program ends, with your return flight to the mainland.
