After being picked up from your hotel, cross the outskirts of Bogotá and travel for 90 minutes to Fusagasugá. During your journey, make a stop to stretch your legs and take beautiful pictures of Tequendama waterfall before arriving at Coloma coffee farm to learn everything about this iconic beverage.  Upon arrival, learn about the history of the farm and the village. Dress up with a traditional hat and basket to harvest the coffee beans before discovering the complete process of production, from seed to cup. Begin the tour in the coffee seedbed, where the beans are sowed and cultivated. Next, wander through a flowering plantation of Arabica coffee, where you can see many of the varieties of coffee produced in Colombia. If its harvesting season, you will be able to help pick the best beans. From there, see where each coffee bean is washed, pulped, dried, and hand-picked. Make your way to the thresher before moving to the critical final step, the roasting of the coffee. See how this is done slowly through an artisanal process which gives the coffee its characteristic color, aroma, and flavor. Finally, end the tour with a tasting of a delicious cup of coffee. Receive a pack of coffee as a gift and try a tasty liquor made with the beans before having the chance to buy some products at the shop. I thought it was a very good tour, I think it is important that it includes transportation, in my case it was perfect, and I found the place they took us to be very nice, only at the end of the tour I would have liked to have had a coffee tasting with more variety, But in general very good

If you come to Colombia, to see how coffee is produced, from planting to roasting is simply a must! And this tour did exactly that, we could see and touch(literally) the whole process on hacienda. And the final coffee and rum tasting was also excellent. We also saw variety of other plants, waterfalls and fruit market, where we could buy fruit.(along the way) Minibus in which we traveled from and back to Bogota was also quite spacious and comfortable, but the ride was quite long (take a book or something) especially during the peak. Overall, I totally recommend.

It's really worth doing the tour!!! We learned all the steps of the coffee process! The traffic to the finca was very big! The promised time was 90 minutes but it was done in 3:30 h. that we ended up returning later and the passage through the waterfall also we couldn't see because there was a lot of fog! The driver was nice, the tour could include lunch for the price paid!
