I ended up touring the west side because they only do tours with more than one person, but it was still amazing, actually the best tour I’ve been on! The island is so so beautiful. Our guide Hugo was incredible and, as a local, shared personal stories of the island which really enhanced the tour. It’s made me think about the Azorean people as opposed to only viewing beautiful sights. He was also very considerate, personable, and hospitable.

Our guide, Manuel, was so awesome. He did a marvelous job of explaining all the sites we were seeing and we saw the most stunning views and lush green scenery. I can’t think of a thing I would change about this tour. It was definitely a 5-star rating and worth the money. The traditional Portuguese lunch was fabulous. Ask for Manuel if you book a tour with this company!!
