I’m a solo girl traveler visiting Kenya and joined a one-day trip to Funzi Island. I was surprised to find that the scenery here is even more beautiful than Wasini. We had lunch in a small village—seafood, rice, and bread were all delicious. The guide and driver were very friendly. This is definitely a highly recommended.

The excursion was very fascinating and the guides were very good. The local guide, who could speak a few words of Italian, explained to us perfectly the characteristics of the island and the customs of the fishing village. The lunch of crabs, lobsters and grilled fish and coconut rice was delicious.

very interesting day in contact with the local population and in an environment, the mangrove, relatively unknown but nevertheless full of life... Interesting visit to the village but nothing more... Excellent meal with lobster, crab and fish. I recommend !
