My personalized tuk tuk tour of Funchal through Tukxi Madeira was fantastic! My guide was João and it ended up only being me on the tour as my friend was feeling unwell. Our flight landed an hour late and Tukxi Madeira worked to still accommodate our 6-hr personalized tour as best they could, and João did his best to make my tour as long as possible. During the 5-hr tour, we traveled throughout Funchal and went to Cabo Girão as well as the town of Câmara de Lobos. I enjoyed both destinations greatly! João was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, its history, and so much more- I found the tour very informative and entertaining. He also made sure that my tour ended after 6pm so that I could see the streets lit up with all the Christmas lights before he dropped me off at my hotel! It was very thoughtful!

Luis is a very good tour guide! This tour is definitely worth it, it’s very fun going in the tuktuk and around the island. Luis will tell you information you never knew (from a local) of the island, between monte and old town Funchal. He will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great trip. He offered suggestions for restaurants and also offered for me to message him on my holiday if I had any questions about Madeira.

It was so much fun! A great way to see the city and it’s main streets. We went on our first night in Funchal and it really helped plan our time for the week. So pretty with the Christmas lights and our driver was so kind and helpful and would even make recommendations and would stop in locations where he could for us to take pictures.

Thanks Luis and Andrea for your great Tuk Tuk tour. It was great fun and very informative. This is a great way to see Funchal. I'd recommend doing this early in your visit as you'll discover great places to visit and eat that you can go back to. A great way to see Funchal.

Amazing tour. Loved every minute and it was a highlight of the visit. The guide was very knowledgeable and flexible to what we wanted to see. Thank you.
