Fantastic day! We were spoiled by the weather not a drop of rain or mist. The scenery was one of a kind and would recommend this walk to anyone. Margarita (hopefully spelt is right) was a great guide and effortlessly spoke to our group in English/german and wee bit of Dutch. Only negative was finding a spot to eat lunch due to how busy the waterfall was. Which is not in anyone’s control.

Discover the waterfalls of Rabaçal on this guided hike. Enjoy hotel pickup and drop-off in an airconditioned bus from several points on the island of Madeira. Immerse yourself in the unique flora and fauna of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Be picked up from the comfort of your accommodation and sit back and relax on the drive to the Rabaçal reserve. Follow your guide on a trail of intense natural beauty that is brimming with waterfalls. Look for local flora and fauna as you walk through this lush wonderland. Pass by 25 natural springs which fall into a small crystal clear lake that is surrounded by dense vegetation. Listen to the falling water and the chirping of birds. Return to your accommodation by bus at the end of your tour.

We had a great trip out with jimmy to the 25 fountains. The walk was quite easy so manageable for all levels. Just the steps after the main fountain was hard! We had a nice stop at a local bar on the way back which was nice to show support to those who aren’t in the main tourist drag.
