Sara (the guide) was brilliant. We had a mixed ability group and she looked after everyone really well. I wasn't sure what to expect when it was rated as a difficult walk and I'm not great with heights but it was fine. There are railings along most of the route so I felt very safe. It's a pretty accessible walk for anyone of general fitness.

An excellent day in the mountains, with a very friendly and informative guide. Sarah was first class. The views were simply out of this world. My legs knew they've had a good workout on the following day, but only parts of the hike involved steep climbs and anyone with a basic degree of fitness will be absolutely fine. There was no rush and the less fit members of our group simply took their time on the more demanding sections. Highly recommended.

Great, informative but also strenuous hike in the mountains of Madeira. Our guide Sara (h) led the tour in two languages (group of 19). You should keep in mind that it can get cooler and very windy up here, so bring your jacket with you. We can only recommend the tour ... but you shouldn't be "foot sick".
