Full description
One of the longest and most important levada of the island, this is a very pleasant trail where the climate is milder than some of the other surrounding areas. Your walk starts in Cabo Girão, from where it will pass through the valley of Quinta Grande and Campanário.
Along the path you will be able to observe the green fields, the carefully worked plantations, and the houses and buildings that form the villages. This walking tour takes approximately 2 hours and features amazing views over both the ocean and mountains.
You will be able to observe some of the small local plantations and vineyards throughout this experience, as you meander by them along the trail. By the time your tour has concluded, you will have gotten to know a little more of the island of Madeira.
