Set off in your Tukxi with your informative driver and explore the tourist area of Funchal on your way to the village. Take a scenic drive in which modern buildings slowly turn into banana plants and a superb view over the Atlantic Ocean and the cliffs of Cabo Girão. The fishing village of Camara de Lobos is famous for its picturesque looks, with colorful fishing boats in the dry dock right in the center of the village, a small bay and steep hills crowded with small old buildings. Once in the village you will have the opportunity to explore and learn about its history, culture and try some of the local delicacies.
