Marco the guide was very friendly and efficient, second trip we've had with him this week, the tour covered the highlights of the west of the island and we were back at our hotel by 5pm so an ideal trip.

Our tour guide Luiciano (sorry for mistakes) was amazing! such a good mood and great tour! The only minus was they dont pickup from our Rocamar hotel, so we had to take the taxi to Dom Pedro Garajau hotel for a pickup, but on the orher hand - everything was exellent!

Full description

Escape the hustle and bustle of Funchal on a full-day scenic tour of the west of Madeira. Admire the unspoiled natural beauty of the area and visit the charming village of Porto Moniz. Following pickup from selected hotels in Funchal, pass through the traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. Continue to Cabo Girão Skywalk, Europe's highest cliff skywalk at 589m. Next, head towards the Ribeira Brava and go north through Canhas to the Paul da Serra plateau where you will cross a mountain pass, and witness the rugged beauty of the north coast, where Atlantic rollers deposit white surf on the cliffs. Visit the beautiful village of Porto Moniz and take 1 hour for lunch, as well as time to admire the volcanic swimming pools. We continue to the village of Seixal, where you'll be greeted with the Bridal Veil waterfall and then on to São Vicente before making our way back to Funchal.

The whole day was fantastic. Marco our guide gave us so much interesting and relevant information about Madeira and showed us some beautiful parts of his island. His driving was considerate and relaxed. we had plenty of time to enjoy the stops. it was a well thought out and balanced tour. We particularly enjoyed our swim at Porto Moniz.
